Our Irish Partnership
Pink Recruitment Ireland
Our Irish consultants are all qualified secondary school teachers with hands on experience working with schools and agencies in the UK.
For candidates seriously considering a teaching position in the UK or just in search of advice, the friendly consultants in our Irish office are always available for a chat.
Our Irish colleagues are all qualified secondary school teachers with hands on experience of working with schools and agencies in the UK.
We take into consideration what is important to you in terms of type of school, area and what is going to make you happy. If you are considering relocating but are anxious about moving alone, we can put you in touch with other Irish teachers in your area and we’ll assist in finding accommodation too!
We offer interview preparation as part of our service to teachers and also help with lesson planning as necessary. Please note that this service comes at no cost to candidates – it is our client schools that pay for this service, not our teachers.
We have a five step interview process at Pink Recruitment. We strongly encourage all of our teachers to travel to a school and meet the staff and pupils as this helps paint the truest picture of the establishment.
Upon enquiry, you have a chat with one of our Irish consultants about Teaching in the UK. We also discuss your experience, preferred areas and types of schools we have available that may suit your experience and needs.
We complete a profile on your experience and record a short video of you, speaking about your teaching experience and what you can offer a school.
Once we have a vacancy in your subject area that fits your criteria in terms of area/type of school, we call you and discuss the position available. If you are happy, we then send your CV, profile and video to the school.
If the school are interested in your profile and want to have a face to face interview, we then fly you over to the school for interview. Depending on the school and the time of year, you may be required to teach a short lesson.
Our Irish consultants send you our interview preparation pack and hold an interview preparation session with you. You are briefed on who you will be meeting, travel arrangements for your interview etc. This session may or may not include help with your lesson plan. We support you throughout the process and answer any queries/concerns you may have.
I found the process really easy and Pink Recruitment really wanted to find the right school for me. They also put me in touch with other Irish teachers who were travelling to the same area. I have made new friends and housemates and there’s a very supportive atmosphere in the school. I highly recommend Pink Recruitment.
– Louise McDonnell, Hibernia Science Graduate 2013
I found working with Pink Recruitment an absolute pleasure. From the time I decided to seek employment in the UK they were extremely supportive. Deirdre and Maeve in Ireland were always just a phone call away, and Karla and George in the UK could not have been more helpful driving me to schools and the airport. I am very grateful.
– Michelle Gannon, Maths Teacher, University of Limerick
From the moment I decided to look at my options in the UK, the team at Pink Recruitment were so supportive and informative. Maeve not only talked to me about the type of school I was suited to, she also prepared me really well for interview and introduced me to other teachers that were looking for housemates. I started my induction in a lovely school last week and have housemates and friends already! I can’t recommend Pink Recruitment enough!
